Spiky Moss

Remarks:  Spiky moss is a great moss for filling space on structures as it grows in long and wide "branches" that divide into even more branches. This large, broad structure is why many refer to it as the giant cousin of the ever popular Christmas moss. While it grows best when attached to structures like other mosses, some have found they can get it to grow in like a carpet on gravel substrates if planted in small tufts under high light. Otherwise, it tends to grow upwards under low to medium light and is tolerant of a broad range of water parameters.
