Rio Sansonsito Umbee Cichlid

Remarks:  This line of Kronoheros umbriferus is from parents collected from the Rio Sansonsito in Panama. 

  Kronoheros umbriferus, also known as the Umbee Cichlid, is an aggressive, outgoing predator, so tankmates are highly recommended against. They are a rather large fish when fully grown, so it will benefit from a large tank with wide open space for swimming, at least 150 gallons.

Umbee Cichlids are native to rivers found in Colombia and Panama. Decoration that resembles their natural habitat is recommended, so plenty of rocks and driftwood to simulate caves and hiding places should be provided.
