Blue Paradise Gourami

Remarks: The Blue Paradise Gourami (Macropodus opercularis) are from southeast Asia and prefer slower moving waters. These gouramis are aggressive and nip fish with long fins so they should only be kept with fast-moving, short-finned species such as larger danios. Both males and females have color, but males will have much more color when they mature with a blue body and red vertical bars.
